Just a thought

Post by Sephraem » Wed Jul 26, 2017 12:37 am

On the Torg I kinda play still (I'll admit, I've been on M59 more than that as of late), they have a skill/power/spell- whatever you want to call it- called 'consider'. What it does is it tells the player the amount of wreck he or she will give/get if they attack a creature, npc, or a player's character. I know when we click on a fightable npc or creature, it will tell us how many hitpoints it can take a player up to... which, I suppose, is a consider in it's own right. However, even the weakest of npcs can beat up a player if caught unawares (been there, done that).

Also, I was wondering if it would be possible/probable for vault space to have sections of sorts for organizational purposes? Automatically putting the gems in one section, weapons in another, armor and clothes, etc... or even have a search option. I'm not exactly sure if it's possible with how the game is, I just hate having to search manually for things, and my ocd demanding order be had. Hours of fixing ruined by one conveyance :x

Some more info in mob bios could be useful, e.g. using the text Rook gives when you ask him about a monster. I'd prefer having the info there rather than in a spell, and possibly adding some prompt in Raza (Mausoleum and/or Outskirts) informing the player they should inspect the monster to see how they would fare.

Vault/chest organisation is on my todo list, first up would probably be drag/dropping ability just like inventory (bit harder though, and chests especially will prob need a lot of work done to handle that). Having it organised into sections would be easier to do, but would likely use one set of section ordering (i.e. not picked individually). Search is probably a bit harder, though possible.
