I agree with the simple fix to a big issue - change the purge factor of gort so it is removed by the 1st or 2nd purge on a 99 spell power purge cast.

The configuration. Xml file can support multiple characters and multiple servers. Out of the box , everytime u log into a toon, the configuration Xml file checks for an existing match for that server (server and toon) . I dont think having soth and ao3 holders in the same guild is a problem. It's consistent with having toons from all 3 rival factions with supreme ranked shields in the same guild. Guilds will naturally shift towards supporting the sword or the aoe3 naturally like tokens, faction land and shrines cur...

Er my last sentence I meant to say, for example, when doing riija I just zone in, target the NPC and buy the spells. Walking across the bridge is for classic hippies ;)

Ogre has several LoS advantages over classic. The ability to zoom out with an angle on the map to get those "wall hack" blinds, combined with self targeting and targeting another player without actually seeing them makes ogre a requirement for pvp. A lot still use classic and may win but at the end ...

Just bring it back as was before and remove the deaths when lich dies and guild restrictions and role playing (soth holder can attack soth holder) Then see how the community responds. Cool Ideas. Another model to consider is what guild wars 2 does with the random event generation. I think implementing some of that stuff (like the xeo attacks) would be great since it doesn't require admin trigger or admin time.
